World of Warcraft Dupe Method Hints

After prying as much info as possible from the person who duped the WoW items in the guild bank, we've got these hints. Read the story of how we met the person who discovered the working WoW dupe methd.

*Update*

Using these hints and our dupe method testing program, our team has discovered the dupe! We have successfully duped multiple items and are now working on the method to keep them permanent in game. We'll continue to refine and update the hints with the info on the method we have discovered.

1. The dupe method works on official realms in the current version, 3.3.5 and in the Cataclysm Beta.

2. 2 characters are needed, but only one does the dupe method. The other does nothing special.

3. It can be done on Alliance or Horde characters.

4. It is a simple idea that should make the method easy to find if you know what to look for. (The person who discovered it thought of it after learning two exploits and combined the ideas behind them.) The two exploits are part of the hints that will be emailed to chosen members who submit the form below.

5. It doesn't require an extraordinary circumstance. The dupe can be performed at will not depending on server stability.

6. Duped items do not disappear like in D2 if the method is performed correctly.

7. It does not require a 3rd party program to discover, but the person who duped the items has set up their own macros to quickly perform the dupe method.

8. The dupe method can be performed in one of these specific locations in game. The locations where the dupe method can be performed are part of the hints that will be emailed to chosen members who submit the form below.

9. Our team discovered the dupe method (now working on how to perm the items) using our dupe method idea testing program. It would be possible, but much more difficult to successfully dupe without it.
