Notes:

• This dupe method was confirmed working, but has been patched and no longer works on official servers. This information is for educational use only.

• This dupe method was used for runes. To perm the runes the players would use the horadric cube recipes.

• Requires two players: both perform the actions in order to dupe items.

Diablo II Dupe Method 2

1. Player 1 holds items to be duped

2. Player 2 kills Player 1 exactly 15 times

3. Player 1 drops items to be duped

4. Player 2 picks up the items

5. Player 1 fills inventory with junk

6. Player 1 picks up a dagger outside of town and holds it on the mouse cursor

7. Player 2 kills Player 1 and Player 1 does not click "esc" to coninue

8. Player 2 exits the game

9. Player 1 gets connection interrupted and will be rolled back with the duped items
